Tebing keeps growing. This page lists the levels, modes, features, and fixes that have been released, newest first.
Coming up
- December 20, 2026 – January 5, 2027: 🎆 New Year's Eve. A 60 m night route. You only see as far as your headlamp shines, and fireworks light up the whole wall every now and then. Gold medal for reaching the top without falling.
- February 7 – March 14, 2027: 🌙 Ramadan Sunset. A 55 m route during Ramadan: reach the top before the sunset drum sounds. The dates follow the estimated calendar for Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr 1448 AH.
- August 10–24, 2027: 🎊 Greased Pole. An oiled pole with no rope, inspired by Indonesia's Independence Day games. Play it alone, race the computer or friends online, or climb it in co-op.
Each event appears in the menu as "coming soon" seven days before it starts. Reaching the top of an event route unlocks a special Style reward, and the gold medal unlocks a second one.
October 8, 2026
- The home page now explains the game below the game screen: how to play, every mode with screenshots, supported devices, and frequently asked questions. Scroll down from the menu, or tap ▾ Info at the bottom of the screen.
- The guide and several articles now include screenshots from the game.
- New pages: these update notes and the terms of use. The About and Contact pages were updated for the latest features.
October 1, 2026
- One-rope co-op: 2–4 climbers tied to one rope with no belayer, so whoever falls is held by the team. Play with 1–3 computer teammates (also offline) or up to 4 players online.
- Wall editor: build a 15–60 m cliff, climb it to the top as proof, then share its 6-letter code with friends.
- Reminder notifications for the daily route at a time you choose (7:00, 12:00, 17:00, or 20:00).
- Spanish in the game, alongside English and Indonesian.
- Progress backup: a 12-letter code that moves your levels, stars, records, missions, badges, and Style to another device.
- A new climbing path menu: the next cliff card on top, the cliffs you have conquered below it, and every mode in the bottom dock.
- The schedule for three seasonal events (see "Coming up").
- Follow-up fix: the Versus button sometimes opened the Co-op lobby if you had played co-op before.
September 28–30, 2026
- Indonesian Crags: Levels 11–14, inspired by Siung Cliffs (Yogyakarta), Citatah 125 and Mount Parang (West Java), and Harau Valley (West Sumatra). Each crag has an article about the real place.
- Speed mode: a fixed 15 m route like a speed climbing race, timed to a hundredth of a second, with a weekly world ranking.
- No Rope: every level without rope or checkpoints, with separate records.
- Fall clips: save and share a video of a big fall or of reaching the top.
- Challenge a friend: send your recorded climb as a link, and your friend climbs against your ghost.
- New article: speed climbing.
- Anonymous stats (no ID, can be turned off) to see which features players use.
September 27, 2026
- Tebing moved to its new address, tebing.games. The old address (climbow.netlify.app) redirects here automatically, including room invite links. Records and Style from the old address did not carry over, because browsers store them per site address.
Before that date, Tebing was played at the old address climbow.netlify.app.
